Armourlite, the first SHATTER proof scratch proof HIGH IMPACT tritium dial lighted watch made to withstand the abuse of the tactical profession. No more having to shine a flashlight to see the time. These watches are equipped with fresh bright tritium gas that lights up all day and night without any external power source. Quality movements assure the accuracy of time and the reliability you need while on the job. The Swiss movements allow battery life for up to ten years. Large 3mm crowns makes it very easy to change the time. These bad boys are made from heavy grade stainless steel with a special Black PVD coating for extreme durability. Every watch is at least 100m water resistant and backed by a no nonsense 2 year warranty from ArmourLite. These are the toughest tactical tritium analog watches made anywhere in the world today.

What makes them scratch proof / shatter proof / impact proof?
ArmourLite worked with a specialty glass manufacturer that produced shatter-proof high impact glass and was able to modify this technology to work with the ArmourLite watch design. To further dampen any impact they designed a rubber retaining ring within which the glass sits to absorb any shock. Essentially, it's not just the glass / crystal, the entire watch was designed to be virtually bullet proof.

Ok, so the glass is tough, what about the case?
ArmourLite had the watch case manufactured using the highest and toughest steel combinations to create the super tough case that could be well… literally run over by a 22 ton fire truck.

It can't really be that tough, can it?
Considering that it uses a virtually scratch proof glass and PVD coated steel to encase the Swiss Made quartz movement, it's going to hold up to almost anything.

What's the deal with the H3 tritium illumination?
The major difference between tritium and the Superluminova used in most watches is that tritium doesn't have to be "charged", whereas Luminova and its other versions have to be "charged" by a light source in order to glow. In other words, tritium doesn't fade at all over the course of a night. Superluminova will last roughly 1 to 5 hours, depending on how much of the material is applied and how full “charged” it is while tritium lighting will last well over 12-25 years. Another difference is how bright the different illumination substances are. Tritium tends to be less bright when compared to a freshly charged Superluminova application but while the Superluminova will dim noticeably over the first few minutes of darkness tritium will stay light at the same intensity for years. Of course, this can vary depending on how much tritium is in the tube and how much Superluminova is applied. All ArmoutLite watches use the T25 GTLS system from MB Microtec which is currently the most advanced tritium illumination system available.
